What is ArtStart? ArtStart is downtown Rhinelander’s art and cultural center. ArtStart uses its knowledge, creativity, and connections to support the health of our communities through in house exhibitions and programming and community partnerships and projects outside of our gallery walls.

Officially formed in 2011, ArtStart volunteers rolled up their sleeves and opened their pocket books to renovate a building leased from the city of Rhinelander, into a modern space. The space includes two galleries, a classroom/conference room, indoor and outdoor stage, and bar area.  There are several office spaces which are leased to artists, health coaches, and others.

Whether it’s exhibitions, concerts, special events, or community programming and partnerships, ArtStart is an engaged and active organization.  We invite you to join us in strengthening our community through arts education and cultural engagement.
